I'm home full time and I give excellent belly rubs! In addition to having owned and loved dogs my whole life, I spent four years fostering for a city shelter. During that time, I worked with dozens of dogs of different ages, breeds, and temperaments. I am a confident and calm dog handler, which puts pups at ease. I specialize in working with shy, abused, and feral dogs and have also fostered dogs with mobility and vision impairments. I'm comfortable training, administering oral and topical medications, treating minor wounds, bathing, and trimming nails. If you need to work on some bad habits, we can do that too. Our household is calm, kid-free, and dog friendly - sofa included :) It is just me, my husband, Luigi, and our 10 y/o bluetick coonhound mix, Nugget. Nugs is very laid back and good with all types of animals, even bunnies. He has shared his home with an 8lb weenie dog, a 90lb staffy mix, and everything in between. He isn't playful but is patient. He loves walks in the woods, kangaroo treats, and belly rubs. He is docile and would prefer companions who do not push him around.
