I can't imagine life without a dog or two. Growing up we had several dogs and cats. The first dog I adopted as an adult, when I first brought her home she had not been socialized and had separation anxiety. It was very rewarding to work with her to get more social skills and become the fun loving dog that enjoyed an adventurous life. I have experience administering medication, and working with leash reactive dogs.

I felt very content leaving my Ralphie boy with Margaret over the weekend. It was nice not to have to worry about him, and I could tell he had gotten a lot of play time & socialization while I was away.
Another wonderful stay! Our pup is always so relaxed and happy after a visit with Margaret.
Arlo told me he had a great time staying with Margaret & loved his walks on the foothills in the snow ??

My house has a doggie door out to my fully fenced backyard. I do have chickens in a fenced off area. My house is on the smaller side but very amenable to dogs. The couch is dog friendly and your pup has several large comfortable dog beds to choose from. I have a large kennel if your dog is comfortable in a crate. I will always check with the owner before each visit about any behavior or activities that would be safe and comfortable for everyone.

Let me know if your dog has any on or off leash peculiarities. I'm happy to accommodate anything the pup needs to have a fun and safe time. My dog Tasha is still a bit of a puppy when it comes to playing with other dogs, so let me know if that may be an issue.
A typical day
I live two blocks from a dog off leash park, and 10 minute walk to dog off leash trails. I love to hike with dogs! I am a very active individual who hikes and bikes. If you have a high energy or young pup, I can take them on a mountain bike ride to get that energy out.

I work a typical office schedule. On weekdays I'll take my dog for a walk before and after work. Every weekend I am very active and would love to take a dog along for a hike or long neighborhood walks.
