Hi! My name is Margaret! I love dogs and utilize my free time to care for them - providing you peace of mind while you work or travel. I am a pet owner to two amazing golden retrievers and have extensive experience with many types of pets ranging from reptiles to dogs & cats.

Very easy to communicate with and our dog was well taken care of. In my rush out the door, I forgot some supplies and our host graciously took care of it. Nice location with a riverside trail for walks. Highly recommend!
Margaret was amazing! This was our first time leaving the pups home while on vacation. Margaret was on time every day communicated everything to us. Answered all our questions. She even went above and beyond when the wet food ran out she ran on her own time to grab some! She sent tons of pictures each visit and gave a report every visit letting us know how the dogs were doing. Margaret really put us at ease and made the week very easy. Will be using Margaret again!

I live in a large apartment right on the Schuykill River Trail and walk it daily! I work a fully remote job so I am always home. We will go on a long morning walk, have potty/outdoor breaks every 2 hours, and another long walk in the evening. Our daily walks usually total 1-3 miles. If your pup isn’t one for walks we will cuddle on the couch or play with toys inside! When your pup stays with me they will receive unlimited love, play, and exercise! I will send you tons of photos, videos, and updates 😊

Information Margaret H. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences! I do ask that your dog is COMPLETELY house trained. If your dog is crated when you are not home, you will need to provide a crate because I do not own one. Because of the dogs having free roam of my place, I can’t accommodate pee pads. I also require that your dog be up to date on all vaccines including flea and tick medication and have no signs or symptoms of any sickness. How is your dog with other dogs? Do they play well or tend to play on the aggressive side? No two pets are the same! Message me and we’ll go over your pets daily routine.
A typical day
We will go on a long morning walk, have potty/outdoor breaks every 2 hours, and another long walk in the evening. Our daily walks usually total 1-3 miles. My two golden retrievers love meeting new friends and are very laid back. They also love sharing their toys for a good game of tug of war!
