Ollie always comes back happy and well exercised!

We feel so lucky to have found Margaret and George to look after our dog, Sheen, before he passed away from cancer. Sheen was my entire world and, like many dog owners, I was initially so nervous to leave him with someone else. As I write this today, I struggle to put into words how relieved I felt when we met Margaret and George and they offered to keep Sheen for a trip we had coming up. They are so sweet and you can tell they have loved and cared for dogs their whole lives. Between the two of them, there is a wealth of experience with dogs. We were able to travel with a peace of mind knowing he wasn't sitting in a loud, sterile looking boarding kennel and that they were caring for Sheen as if he were their own. Plus, every video and photo they sent me of Sheen looked like he was at summer camp vacation. He LOVED it over there. Just before his last stay with Margaret and George, Sheen had been diagnosed with cancer and required a whole regimen of medicine throughout the day that I was very particular about. They followed all of my exhaustive (!!!) instructions and gave me regular updates. That meant so much to me. I was also really impressed with their dogs, specifically Pax. He is a freakishly friendly and well-mannered lab. We're looking at getting a puppy soon and I keep joking with them that I'm going to send him over to their place for training and will pick him up after a few months!! All of this to say: If you're seeking trustworthy, caring, dog-loving people to let your dog hang with, we wholeheartedly recommend Margaret and George.
