Pet care experience
My dogs are my children, and I specialize in lap dogs. I will happily stay in your home if you live close to my house or keep your dogs in mine. My furniture and floors are pet/mess proof. I have owned Dachshunds most of my adult life, but I also love and enjoy larger dogs. I am a retired English teacher, but I speak dog language.

Margaret has taken care of my dear Dollop, in her home at least 6 times usually for 3-5 weeks at a time. She’s always happy when I drop her off and is happy when we return. I know Margaret loves animals and is caring and responsible with my dog as if she were her own. I plan to use her services again soon MJ
Margaret takes care of our dog with as much love and care as we have for our “family member.” She always has gone the above and beyond care when it comes to bringing our Daisy back when she’s ran out of the yard and given her plenty of treats and belly rubs.

I will ask appropriate questions about your pets’ likes and dislikes, medications, feeding routines, etc. If I am staying in your home, I will want to meet you and your dogs before the actual date that you leave, giving them some familiarity with me before I come to stay.
A typical day
A typical day with my resident pack of dogs includes a leisurely breakfast after getting up to go outside at around 8 a.m. Then, depending on the weather, it's outside/inside play time until around noon. Then, I go to work at KnitStars, which is about 4 blocks from my house, and the dogs are alone for a while. When I get home, we usually take a walk around Brookside before settling in for knitting and Netflix. The pups are ready to pounce on my bed, eagerly awaiting treats before snuggling in with me at around 11 p.m.

Availability
I work as a knitting teacher/customer service representative for KnitStars, 3509 S. Peoria, Tulsa OK, but our physical store is in the process of closing. I live near the store in the quaint Brookside area, where I walk my dogs on peaceful, picturesque city streets.
