Animal Lover & Traveling Pet Sitter
Pet care experience
I have lived with animals my entire life, primarily cats and dogs. I have experience working in a doggy daycare and boarding setting (with both small dog and large dog packs), along with experience in a traveling vaccination clinic for cats and dogs. I also have experience working in an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant aiding in wellness exams and major surgeries. I also have years of private petsitting for families with cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and goats. I have years of volunteer experience with wildlife conservation and rehabilitation organizations in the United States, South Africa, and Peru. I genuinely love animals —domestic and wild— and would love to hang with yours!
Reviews
Margaret was a phenomenal communicator from the start, sent updates and photos several times a day which put our minds at ease and truly allowed us to enjoy our time away. The house was left spotless and our dogs happy! We hope to be able to book her again!
Margaret was very attentive to our high maintenance kitty. She sent regular updates with pictures and videos, kept his schedule the same as when we are home, and when we came home the house was just as we left it. Couldn't ask for more.
Margaret is dedicated to the care of pets. She has a special bond with furry friends. She is responsible and kind. My dog and cat love it when she gives them extra time and attention. Your pets are in good hands with Margaret.
Margaret was awesome! Our dog was very happy with her and I felt very relaxed knowing she was in good hands!

Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I prefer meeting and staying with pets in their own homes and familiar environments as it helps keep their normal routine and schedule, and minimizes unnecessary stress and anxiety for the pet.
Information Margaret G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or dietary accommodations. I have experience working with cats and dogs that require supplements and oral medication, however I am not yet comfortable providing intravenous meds (i.e. insulin, etc.). Knowing your pet’s habits (good and bad!) will help me provide better and more attentive care.
A typical day
I strive to match your pet’s routine as best as I can. This helps with pets who may be a little weary of strangers, who are normally anxious, and those that may experience separation anxiety. I take the time to create a relationship with your pet so they feel safe and start to view me as a trustworthy companion.

Rover is my full time job and I take my time with other’s pets very seriously! I make myself available to spend as much time with your pets as needed. Besides pet sitting, I am currently in school (online) working towards my Veterinary Technician Associates degree from Penn Foster. I am also currently working towards certification in Fear Free veterinary care and both cat and dog first aid and CPR. Besides focusing on my schooling, petsitting takes up the majority of my free time. To secure a booking, I highly encourage pet parents to reach out sooner than later as I tend to book out weeks and even months in advance!
