Attentive * Fun loving * Doting I started working professionally in pet care in 1998 at Paws Inn, one of the first doggie daycares in the US. After 5 years at Paws I relocated to Oakland and continued doing what I love at Every Dog Has it's Daycare. Whilst there I had the great fortune to receive ongoing training in positive reinforcement and general dog handling techniques. That training enables me to work with all breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. People often tell me I have a special relationship with dogs which I attribute to my interest in understanding their mood and methods of communicating. My goal is for your dog to be happy and comfortable while you’re away. I love taking them on daily walks, creating opportunities to earn treats, and generally fostering a structured atmosphere to keep your pet’s morale high. Daily updates and pictures provided. I have only positive things to say about Margaret. I have a chihuahua who can be feisty and quirky, and Margaret took the time to get to know her and make sure she got affection and attention and love while I was away, even with all my dogs’ quirks. She was communicative, thoughtful and provided me with an update and pictures of my dog every day. I felt very at ease knowing that my dog was in such good care. Margaret also left my apartment so clean and organized (including my pantry!) which was so sweet and the icing on the cake. I’ll definitely be rebooking with Margaret in the future. :)
I cannot recommend Margaret highly enough! She stayed with our 2 cats for two weeks and I was confident that they were in great hands the entire time. Both cats have their quirks and some particular needs and Margaret took the time to understand them and to build rapport and gain trust with both of them. We really appreciated that she sent pictures and updates daily. Additionally, we came home to a tidy house which is always a good feeling. I hope to book Margaret again in the near future!
