I have a special, intuitive relationship with animals, and a calm demeanor that puts them at ease. It's a true joy to spend time with them, connect with them, and lavish them with love and attention. I grew up on a farm in Maine with many animals. We always had dogs and cats in addition to the usual farm animals. Later, I lived in New York City where I ran a cat rescue group for several years. Services: Dog walking, cat visits. I can give medicine orally or topically and administer subcutaneous fluids; these services cost a little extra. Pet wrangling (feral cat trapping, getting ornery animals into carriers to go to the vet, etc.). NOTE ABOUT HOUSESITTING: I can do it on a limited basis. Because I have my own pets, I can generally only accept housesitting stays that are nearby and for short periods. I'm more likely to accept stays if you don't need me to spend the night at your home. ***Coronavirus update*** I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19 including a recent booster shot. I wash my hands frequently and wear a mask indoors in public spaces.
