Pet care experience
I've had a dog of my own for the past 11 years (Dotty), growing up with her and learning to care for a pet. I've taken care of a variety of dogs, taking them for walks/runs, playing with them in their home, grooming, etc. I moved back to Denver recently for the summer and am starting graduate school in the fall, but am looking for some extra income. I am going to school for social work and hoping to get my animal-assisted therapy certificate. Dogs can sense certain energies and I put off a confident yet calm energy around them. Maggie is a great dog sitter! She was attentive to Benson and we appreciate her giving him so much attention and love!
Maggie loves dogs and has a special way with them. She is tentative to their needs and loves to play for endless hours with them. She has watched my dogs numerous times when we have been away or just at work and my dogs are so happy to see her when she arrives. They can sense she is on her way over and will wait, anxiously at the door for her to arrive. I would trust Maggie 100% with my dogs.
I may be a bit biased as I am Maggie's mother....that being said, I could not imagine a better person to care for anyone's dogs or other pets!!! She has always adored dogs, not only her own but everybody else's. Extremely dependable, she has extensive dog/cat/baby/house sitting experience. Needless to say there were many sad faces when she moved away to go to school! She has also worked in retail and could handle the most difficult of customers...she's always been the peace maker of our family! Social work with a certification in animal assisted therapy is her ultimate goal....an absolutely perfect career choice for this dog/human lover:) Now, if they expect for their bed to made that might be another discussion.....
Maggie has dog sat our puppy Hank multiple times. She is amazing at communicating; before, during and after. Not to mention that she sends us pictures while we are away of the two of them enjoying the outdoors. I wouldn't leave Hank with anyone but Maggie from now on!
