Pet care experience
Dog sitter/walker with open availability. I work in fundraising for a local nonprofit. My schedule is fairly flexible and my workplace is dog-friendly - so if you have an emergency or a last-minute work trip, please do not hesitate to contact me! Your pet's stay will include two walks per day, administering any medication needed, and lots of love and affection! I am a reliable and energetic outdoor enthusiast and would be delighted to play with/look after your pup(s)! I've lived with dogs my entire life who I have actively helped take care of and I have had my current dog for the last 4 years. I love boarding dogs because it allows me to meet so many amazing new dogs (and sometimes humans!). I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, I love them all! I also love to taking my dog to various places around Austin! Whether it's Red Bud Isle, Lady Bird Lake running trail, or playing fetch in the yard, there will be no shortage of activities and fun. And don't worry, I will send you updates and pictures so you can enjoy your vacation worry-free.

Margaret was a lifesaver providing super last minute care for my Bluebell! Very responsive and lots of updates. Her dog Canyon is as sweet as can be and generously shared his beautiful home and yard. It’s a great place for a dog. She was even super accommodating when my fligh my was 7 hours late and I had to extend the stay by a night because I git in at 2 am (don’t fly Frontier!). Also I have a sneaking suspicion bluebell even got a bath while there, hoe else to explain that she smells a lot better then when I dropped her off?
Margaret was wonderful to deal with. She responded quickly to all messages and sent photos of our sweet Maya throughout the stay to assure a worried dog mamma that our girl was doing well. Margaret’s sweet pup Canyon was low key and got along well with our dog. Maya came home relaxed and obviously felt comfortable with Margaret and Canyon. We could not be happier with our experience.

A typical day
I will take your pups to local parks and trails. We'll play fetch (on long leashes) or a backyard if you have one! We'll also reinforce and work on previous training that you have worked on with your pup. If you have an active dog, I would take them for a daily run on Town Lake.
