Hi nice to meet you I’m Margaret. I’m 18 but I promise that is not a negative. Animals have always been my passion! I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, all rescues most needed special care or rehabilitation. I’ve worked with rescue groups since I was ten years old, and hope to be in school next fall for exotic animal care. I’m knowledgeable and expierienced in the care (physical and emotional), and training for most domestic animals. I feel it’s important to work as hard as you can and strive for the most positive outcome you can with everything you do. I believe everything is equal so I will treat your pup as if it was my own child, with 100% attentiveness, compassion, and my all.

Margaret is always willing to help us out! Even on short notice! She is super sweet and caters to the all of the needs of our (weirdo) dogs perfectly! I think we’ve found our forever walker!
We used Margaret two weeks in a row because we paid ahead before her first weekend sitting. When we got home the first weekend, the house was a disaster. Dog hair and dried pee puddles everywhere (we have a 15 week old puppy). She also finished off boxes of our food and never mentioned it so we could grab some more before returning home. The second weekend I had asked her to be at the house at 7pm to let the dogs out after dinner. We left the house at 7:20, still no sign of her. We ended up having to come back to the house because we forgot something, STILL not there, so I texted her from my driveway asking if she was at the house yet. She replied “yeah I just stopped in a little while ago and will be off of work at 8:45.” When we got home yesterday, she half cleaned the floor (took the wet jet and just pushed the mess around) and my boyfriend’s guitar player came up the driveway to find my lab in the neighbor’s yard because she had our back door open and wasn’t paying attention. My boyfriend and I had to clean the whole entire house, pee and hair everywhere, puppy poop in HER guest room, dried food all over the clean dishes, and an empty beer can from our fridge on our fireplace (she’s 18). I filled the water bowl in the yard when I got home and the dogs acted like they hadn’t had any water all weekend, and the water bowl in the kitchen was completely dry. She also mentioned her “guy friend” and her going for a hike with our puppy the day before and he had her car when we got home, so we’re assuming he also stayed with her at our house. We will not be asking for her to dog sit again.
Patches already loves her. Me too! She is a wonderful girl who loves all animals. She walked patches and the next day he was at the door waiting for her to come back.

Essentially I’d like to know who your dog is what they need, how to be their friend and someone they not only trust but can bond with so their experience is a joyful adventure every time!
A typical day
I know the middle Tennessee area pretty well so if your dog likes being social and busy we will hit the town together, but if hikes in a quiet forest are more his style he’s in luck because I love hiking as well. Can your dog play for what seems like the whole day that’s fine with me, i have endless captivating games and activities that don’t only keep your dog occupied but can also expand their intellect and training while having fun! I get it though some dogs just want to be let in to the yard to handle his business then wants right back on his perfectly broken in couch cushion. It’s never fun being away from your dog but sadly we can’t be with them 24/7, so I’m here for your dog and to bring positive energy to them every time we’re together not just distract them and make sure they don’t have an accident in the house.
