Margaret and I used to be neighbors in the same apartment complex, where she quickly became my go-to cat sitter for weekends away and longer work trips. You can tell the quality of a cat-sitter by how your cats behave after you return from a week away- mine were always happy and relaxed, their routine largely undisturbed. Margaret nailed the balance of communication- she checked in often enough that I could enjoy my trips knowing my two cats were as well cared for and adorable as ever! Beyond just feeding my cats, she also spent time to ensure they were pet and played with. I booked her several times for overnight sitting, and she was always respectful of space and privacy as well. Margaret has cared for our dog multiple times while we were out of town and does a great job! She cared for her once after surgery and carefully administered medications and left detailed notes about their administration. Our (normally anxious) dog is always happy and relaxed when we get home, and we get lots of updates and pictures while we’re gone. She does a great job and we will definitely continue to book her for dog sitting now that she is on Rover!
