I met Margaret in 2009 from a fellow neighbor who was raving about her pet sitting their big, kind of wild, standard poodle. My Abby is a 115lb Newfoundland from Mom's side and Great Pyrenees from Dad’s so she is big, mostly black and stubborn. When we got Abby at almost 6 months of age she had been abused so she was scared and shaking in her shoes. She doesn’t warm up to anyone but my husband and myself. But necessity had it that we had to go back to our hometown in NY on family matters. Margaret was able to friend Abby, get Abby to trust her and deal with all her idiosyncrasies. Abby has never been aggressive more than her mean bark but she really doesn’t like many people. She goes around them. Margaret has been able to break through to Abby and over the years has even helped me get her more socialized. Whether your dog is a furry problem child or not Margaret is an awesome pet sitter and may even teach your dog a social trick or two. I highly recommend Margaret Barrow as a pet sitter. She truly cares about my Abby and she will care about your pet too.
