With our family dog, I was always in charge of walking him several times a week. We would start with a 3-mile walk then throwing the tennis ball with him afterward. With this, my neighbors would generally come to me to help with dog sitting. With several visits a day, I would make sure that the dog or cat received their meals, medication (if required) walks, bathroom breaks. I have continued to help and assist with the care of animals with roommates pets, family pets, and having the chance to work at the zoo and taking care of exotic animals.
