I have a degree in animal behavior specializing in dogs. I have been a dog handler for 9 years at 3 different doggy daycares and in all that time I've never met an animal I didn't love! I'm responsible. I build a relationship based on trust with dogs, and work with the dogs personality. I will send customers pictures of their dogs daily and keep a log of behavior, and eating habits, or anything else customers want me to keep track of in their absence. Dogs are family and I treat them like family. I have been a groomer for about a year, and that has given me the ability to make dogs feel comfortable! I have experience with dogs with special needs, from old dogs with health issues to dogs that are very nervous, or don’t like other dogs!

Maretta is AMAZING! She was so patient and caring for our pup. She asked lots of questions to understand his anxiety and fears before the stay. She was patient letting him get to know her so that he would feel comfortable having her in the house for multiple days. She played games with our pup and helped continue some of our training practices while we were away. So so happy to have her as a sitter!

Maretta is by far the best doggy sitter I have ever met. She has worked at doggy day cares for years, and loves telling me about all the dogs she meets. She adores all different kinds of dogs, from tiny to giant, and everything in between. Being an animal lover myself, I know an animal lover when I see one. Our love of animals, especially dogs, is something that Maretta and I have always shared, and it brought us closer as friends. I have two small dogs, and I call Maretta their second mom. When she's dog sitting, She doesn't just watch the dogs, she will play with them, talk to them, and treat each one like they are her own. There is no one I would trust more than Maretta to care for my fur babies. She has sat for various dogs on numerous occasions, and she has been doing so for years. I highly recommend Maretta as a dog sitter!
Retta is a life saver. I had to leave town for a couple weeks and place my dog in doggy daycare. My dog started to become depressed and Retta offered to take her home. Quickly, my dog was happy again. Also, Retta sent me pictures and updates on the well being of my dog. I have asked her to keep my dog ever since. My animals love Retta and I refer to her as the step-mom!

A typical day
We will definitely snuggle, and play! Though, dogs like humans have different personalities so I will cater any and all activities to the dogs personality! If they are a stay at home and snuggle type then snuggling is what we’ll do, if they’re a play all day type then we’ll be playing!
