Pet care experience
First grade teacher & long time dog lover, I'm comfortable working with all types of dogs! I've had cairn terriers since I was 6 and have great experience with the terrier breed and those like minded. I'm great at enforcing positive behaviors while walking & will get down to play with the small guys or lend a lap to the big ones. I am available most afternoons after the school day (3pm) and can practice leash training and other light training (sit, down, paw, etc) if applicable during the time with your pet. I have had experience with aggressive as well as fearful dogs and am confident in handling them around their triggers. Dogs sense my calm and loving personality often and I say hi to each dog I can when I am out. I love a good face full of kisses and don't mind some slobber :)

Marcy is so fabulous! I have used her for both dog sitting and dog walking, and is consistently wonderful. She is very timely and friendly, and my very rambunctious dogs absolutely loved her. When she dog sat this summer, she stayed in my home so that the dogs would be more comfortable. She kept the house spotlessly clean and was very responsible throughout my entire 10 day vacation. I would highly recommend her and will absolutely hire her again!

Please let me know if your dog has any fears or triggers for behaviors. This will help me ensure it's safety as well as my own and others, dogs and humans alike. I love all breeds, big or small, but if it's a big dog who's strong I do need them to be adequately trained and not pull as I am only 5'2'' and can't hold TOO much, but have experience with dogs as big as newfies.
A typical day
I prefer to walk on sidewalks but will walk on calm roads in the neighborhood streets in your area. If visiting your pup at home, I can practice simple commands, play fetch or tug-o-war, or just provide some snuggles if needed!
