No breed to big or small for me. I have experience with all ages and breeds. I would like to meet the dog with his or her owners before the pet sitting begins. It would be helpful for me to understand what you do with your pet on a day to day basis to keep their routine as close to normal as possible. Is your pet afraid of anything, or does anything set them off? I would like to know if your dog gets along with other dogs, kids, etc. if I was going to take them out of your home. I would never take your dog out of your house without your permission. Does your dog need medication on a regular basis? Feeding times, sleeping area, does he sleep with his human or anywhere he likes? I like to try to keep things the same while the owners are away.

Depending on the dogs demeanor, I am more than willing to take them with me to run errands, take on walks, play on the beach., walk them in the woods. Throw a ball or stick. Take a nap, watch a movie, some dogs prefer that more than I do. I enjoy playing fetch with the dog or with their toys as I feel while they are away from their true "parents" this is a stress relieving activity that may take their mind off the current situation and feel less abandoned. Whatever you want me to do with the pet while you are away is no challenge for me. I have had great opportunities to watch a variety of animals over the years from exotic birds, to enormous dogs, and finicky feline's, along with an occasional horse of course.
