Pet care experience
Being the youngest child, I was born into a family of pets ranging from the traditional pets, such as fish and dogs, to some more “untraditional” animals like hermit crabs and turtles. I cared for 3 turtles for around a decade now and I have a dog of 7 years that has chewed her way into our hearts (and our slippers). I’ve always considered myself an animal person as most of my friends have had dogs and cats, which have allowed me to have a lot of experience with other peoples pets as well. Rest assured that your fur babies are in good hands and will receive the special type of attention that comes from having a pet of your own. Any special care or instructions will be thoroughly included and updates will be provided periodically so you are up-to-date on the status of your pet.

Marcus has always been great to my animals as well as his own! Not only is he great to animals though, he is a very respectful, kind young man. My dog loves him and my cat may be in love with him, she gives him kisses until it hurts. When I leave the room and come back the cat is fast asleep on him and my dog is fast asleep beside him. He plays with them and gives them endless cuddles and love! He is definitely a worthy candidate for your pets :)

I have a medium sized, fenced-in backyard that my family maintains with a patio and tons of grass and open room to roam. I have a nicely sized neighborhood to go on walks and a nearby park for more exercise.

Please let me know if your dog needs any special care or has any special behavioral patterns that you would like me to account for. For example, if you have been trying to teach your dog not to jump on people when someone new enters the house, I will follow suit. Any other important information is very much appreciated.
A typical day
I will treat your dog just like I do my own unless a special request is asked of me. I start the day with an early morning walk for exercise and a bathroom trip. In addition to that, there is normally afternoon play in the house or backyard to alleviate more energy and I am comfortable with dogs that like to have a lot of attention and dogs that like to be more independent. Nightly walks and trips to the park can be included as well.
