I am happy to take care of pretty much any dog. I of course need to know details about the dogs diet, any anxiety issues the dog might have, any allergies, what activities the dog likes or doesn't like (i.e. dog parks, dog beach, playdates with other dogs, riding in the car, and so forth). I also want to know is if the owner has any preferences as far as rules for the dog. For example, I don't mind dogs on the furniture, but I don't want the dog to pick up bad habits while staying with me that the owner won't appreciate.

I like taking dogs to the dog beach in OB, Fiesta Island, and dog parks. I find these are the places most dogs are happiest. Of course, I will consult the owner before taking their dog anywhere besides a walk around the neighborhood. I live a short walk from the beach at Mission Bay in Pacific Beach, which is probably the direction I will usually walk the dog. Also, my sister has two great dogs; both are medium sized, well behaved and friendly, and we might all go to the park together at some point.
