Pet care experience
I don't currently have pets but I had a dog who unfortunately had to be put down after 16 years. I've also been caring for another dog outside of Rover and figured why not do the same for other dogs, I love dogs anyway!

Marco walked my dog during the week, which was a huge help since I was busy with meetings. He was punctual, communicative, and Baxter really took to him quickly. I'd definitely recommend Marco to anyone looking for a dog walker!
Marco was a wonderful dog sitter to our 12 year old chihuahua, Bowie. He sent updates of how Bowie was doing every day, photos and videos, and it really made us feel at ease with his care. I also wanted to note how grateful we are, as it was a last minute trip due to a family emergency, and Marco was able to care for our dog which was so helpful. We would definitely use Marco again as our dog-sitter. Please consider booking him for your dog-sitting needs, as he will take good care of your pet!
Marco did great with Cherry. She’s a bit of a high maintenance dog because of some medical conditions she has and he handled it well. I would definitely leave Cherry with Marco again.
Marco was fantastic! Dixie had a great day and I was so pleased with the care Marco gave. I would recommend him to all dog owners.

Besides taking care of their basic needs I love interacting with animals, whether just lounging around and cuddling with them while reading or playing a high-energy game for the more active dogs. I'm ok with dogs whether they are crate-trained or not, as long as it's ok to leave the dog for a few hours a day.

Let me know if your pet has special needs. I have cared for senior dogs near their end of life (my dog) as well as other dogs with a strict diet/medication regimen.
A typical day
I live near a couple of parks I often walk to. I don't live near a dog park, but I can drive to one. I enjoy going on walks as well as keeping the dog (and myself!) active in the backyard or inside the home with their favorite games and toys.

I like to get out and moving! So caring for a dog is a win-win for me. I'm currently only working part time from home so I have a lot of flexibility.
