Pet care experience
I have had pets all of my life from dogs, cats, rabbits, hermit crab, and fish. I now help foster from time to time. I have always helped people out with their pet from house sitting, walking, fostering, or just checking in on them.

Marcie was wonderful with our little terrier. Our dog is a bit of a handful and Marcie was very skilled and patient. She sent photos and even contacted us after we picked her up to tell us about a concern she had. We will use her again as soon as we can get away!
Marcie is great. She promptly stopped by for a walk through and was delightful. I felt immediately at ease and knew my cats would be safe and well taken care of. My very timid orange tabby even came out from under the bed to greet her. That’s a first for him. Don’t hesitate to hire Marcie for you animals. Sharon
I was so excited to hear that Marcie was interested in this opportunity. She is absolutely perfect for the role. Her intuition, compassion and love for all animals was always apparent. She was my go-to dog sitter until she recently moved away. When she lived next door to me, my dog would always run to her in excitement. Marcie would always offer to walk, feed, and simply love my dog if I ever needed her too. She was fantastic and we both really miss her. However, I am so glad that she is being considered to help other animals who could use all the love that Marcie is willing to give.

I live in an apartment at a boarding school and there is a large field in the back. There is also a fenced in area that I can take them to. I love going to the dog park and there are several I do not mind driving to . I have a 9 year old daughter so if I board the pet must be good with children.

I would love to know if your pet likes certain foods (I always seem to have deli meat for them as a treat) and if they can have a special treat from me. It is also helpful to know what time you usually bring them out in the mornings. I can set my alarm clock, even though I have my own (9 year old daughter).
A typical day
We have all kinds of trails around the campus as well as streets around the area so it is something new every day. I do not like to do the same route. We have hallways in the dorm if it is a rainy day and we play fetch. There are students all around and most love being with animals especially when they are away from their own, they feel more at home when pets are around.

I am usually free during the weekdays between 10am -2pm so I can spend plenty of time on a walk or playing. If you need help on weekends, we will need advanced planning
