Pet care experience
I am brand new to Rover and decided to join after going through an extremely stressful situation requiring last minute emergency boarding and having a really hard time finding help. The chaos surrounding that experience is what lead me to the realization that I had to have more options so that I would never be in that pickle again and that's how I found Rover. So after finding the right Rover sitter, and after a very pleasant experience, I thought...why not also be a safe haven and reliable source for someone else in need? I have had animals my entire life from cats, to bunnies, ducks, all different dog breeds, and tons of small animals like guinea pigs and hamsters. I have a daughter who is almost 12 and is just as much an animal lover as me if not more. She is a great help with all fosters we have had over the years and is very gentle and patient with all animals.

I’m so glad I found Marcia. We had a meet and greet for our dogs the day before to make sure it was a fit and showed me around so I knew exactly where my dog would be. She gave me photo updates all throughout the weekend. I would 100%recommend her and will definitely be using her again.
Very happy we found such a lovely family to look after our little dog vinnie at such short notice, very accommodating and very efficient. We received updates daily & photos, Vinnie was certainly very happy & made himself at home. Marcia was excellent and we will definitely book again.

I have just over a half acre back yard which my dog absolutely loves, it is fully fenced without any vulnerable areas to get out. Anytime I am away from my home, for the safety of everyone, all animals will be in kennels. I have 3 that are available but you are always welcome to bring your own. Being that I myself am very protective over my own dog, my goal is to make sure that your babies are also cared for with the same love and respect that I want for mine. You will receive as many updates as you need ! So whether you have to go out of town for pleasure, business or personal reasons, or just want your pet to have a doggie sleepover, they will be treated like my own and there is no better feeling when it comes to your loved ones than peace of mind.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavior issues, I am willing to work with your dog's needs and can prepare better when I have a heads up, however, every booking will need to start with a meet and greet to make sure we are a good fit for each other.
A typical day
We go to the dog park often and I am absolutely willing to take your pet on an outing if that is something that you are comfortable with.

I do work full time, occasionally from home, but I am very blessed to live very close to my job, so it is easy to come home for lunch or animal check-ins as needed.
