Pet care experience
I have a great reputation for reasonable rates, excellent service, dependable, mature, on time, and responsible. I am in the process of completing an online pet CPR/First Aid and Pet sitting/Walking/House Sitting certification course accredited by a nationally recognized company. I have a website and can share that with you upon request. I was raised on small farm that included horses, ducks, chickens, cows, cats and dogs. I love animals and have a medical degree which transfers to animals as well. I have several great references that define my character and capabilities. Not to mention, I have a real rapport with dogs and have never had an issue handling any size or breed. I am active and healthy myself and available to come to your home on a daily basis or do overnight house sitting/pet sitting/dog walking.

I need to know if the dog has been on any kind of walk on leash or off and what were the results. I need to know if the dog has shown any aggression toward people or other animals. I I need to know the breed of dog and if they were a rescue dog and what the rescue people had to say about the dog. I need to know eating times and if the dog has any health issues or medication needs.
A typical day
I am very active and take the dogs on walks and in the car with me whenever I do go somewhere. It is good for the dog to socialize this way. Also, I am very playful and find out what it is that they enjoy and engage them in this activity. I prefer to have the dogs sleep with me or by me as it is a form of getting to know each other. My favorite is to take the dog off leash on a hike where this is allowed and give them a real experience of nature and independence. I have treats that I get the dogs to sit and pay attention to my voice so that I have control on a hike. If the dog does not respond then, I keep them on leash.
