Senior dogs are my jam!
Pet care experience
All of my dogs have been rescues from the Humane Society and I am sucker for older dogs that need a good stable home for their retirement years. The first dog I adopted had congestive heart failure which required a special diet and medications and strict monitoring of his activity level. I cared for a 22 year old Siamese cat in kidney failure and had to give him subcutaneous fluids 3X / week. I share custody of a senior Pom/Chi rescue with a seizure disorder with my ex-wife. She has to take anti-seizure meds twice daily, has acute colitis and on a bland diet. I have plenty of years of experience handling the elder pups and I just love them so much!

This booking was the first with Marceo and I will definitely rely on him again for dog care. I have a 15 year old chi mix and an 8 year old terrier lab mix. Marceo cared for them at my place for several days. I was sent regular updates and photos and when I came home the place was clean and my dogs were happy and had obviously been well cared for.
Marceó is a wonderful doggy dad. I’ve known him for about 12 years now and he’s always had a dog or 2. Most of them have had special needs, so he is extra attentive to their special needs. Whether it be medications on time, or certain diets, he’s always flexible and ready to take care of his loved and cherished pets. I would hire Marceó in a heartbeat and trust him with my little furry loved one.
Marceo cares deeply about dogs, and provides safe, loving care. Dogs seem to gravitate to him, and feel calm in his presence (except when it's fun playtime!). He offers structure when structure is needed, and lots of fun activity and exercise when appropriate. He is especially adept at caring for senior dogs. I highly recommend him as very responsible and loving pet caregiver!
Marceo has a very calm and patient demeanor with animals. All of the dogs in his life have been extremely well cared for, and it shows by the way they have all loved him back. No matter their needs he is able to accommodate, and does so lovingly. Any pooch would be lucky to be in his care.

She has gotten more grouchy in her older age and gets more stressed so she will be with her mommy who I share custody with during boarding times.

Availability
I work from home about 90% of the time and have the ability to take breaks/walks. I also have a huge fenced backyard for roaming, sniffing, throw a ball around, zoomies, and potty time.
