Pet care experience
Growing up surrounded by animals, I've had the joy of caring for dogs, cats, turtles, and fish. One of my most cherished companions was Tody, my dachshund, who lived a remarkable 17 years. This experience taught me valuable lessons on caring for senior dogs, especially when they face challenges in their mobility. Now, as a Ph.D. student in Pittsburgh, I've found comfort in pet-sitting for friends while they're away. Whether it's a dog, cat, or any other furry friend, I'm always thrilled to take them for a walk, go for a jog, or provide a comfortable overnight stay at your place (unfortunately, my current building doesn't allow pets).

We've had Marcela walk our dogs in the past, but this was the first time she came over to house-sit for a multi-day trip. She did a great job, the dogs seemed well cared for, and the house was in great shape when we returned. We will be booking with Marcela again!
Marcela was great walking my dog Riley, who is usually a bit shy around strangers but took to Marcela rather quickly. Marcela was also very responsive and communicated well through the app. All in all, a good walk and I would use Marcela again for future walks.
Marcela and her partner walked my dogs daily while I was out of town and they did a great job. Very communicative, kind, and my pups were well cared for. I’d definitely book with her again!
Marcela was wonderful with our goldendoodle! She stayed with him for over a week while we were away, and we could tell he had a blast. She took him for many walks in the neighborhood and sent frequent picture and video updates. We will definitely be booking Marcela again!

My schedule revolves around my classes, but I'm usually available for afternoon and evening walks on weekdays. Fortunately, weekends are wide open, allowing me to be fully available for walks and house-sitting.
