Dedicated pet care and exercise.

Pet care experience

Although I’ve lived with pets my whole life, I took that experience to the next level by providing a foster home for 60 at-risk dogs, while they transitioned from rescued farm animal to loving family pets. Over 5 years I learned a wealth of information about putting dogs at ease, accommodating special needs, and keeping everyone safe.

Safety, trust & environment

I live with family who are allergic to dogs, so most pet care will take place outdoors or in a space provided by the pet owner. I offer a variety of exercise options, anywhere from neighborhood street walks, to wilderness hikes, and dog park trips. I have years of experience securely walking and caring for dogs of all sizes who are just learning to trust. Safety is my top priority, but fun and stimulation are guaranteed!

Information Marc B. would like to know about your pet

It is important to note any special medical needs and allergies your dog has. I provide treats to most clients, so if your pup is allergic to common protein or grains, I'll need to know. If your dog has any particular reactive phobias, or trouble associating with other dogs, please do specify these things before any booking. You can assume your dog is getting individual attention from me, so even if they do not play well with others, anything can be accommodated...but it's safest to be clear ahead of time.

A typical day

When schedule and location allow, I like to get my canine clients away from street traffic and out onto wooded trails, where they can have the invigorating experience of patrolling new turf and tracking all the natural smells and signs the local wildlife leaves. Maine's Southern coast and inland mountains have an endless variety of estuary and backwood options that will fascinate any dog for life, and I am happy to bring your pooch out for a variety of close-to-home adventures, and eventually perhaps further ranging expeditions.
