Pet sitting done right!
Pet care experience
Our pets mean the world to us and it is my goal to provide the best possible service to ensure your pet's needs are accommodated. Whether it's sitting during the day or overnight, I can provide frequent updates so you're fully aware of how your pet is doing! What sets me apart from other sitters? First and foremost, I am with your dogs 24 hours a day. Dogs are NEVER left alone and unless I know the dogs extremely well, they will never be left unattended with another dog under any circumstances. I provide the highest level of attention and care so that all clients can rest assured their pets are in the safest environment. I have meet and greets with every dog that stays with me to ensure they're a proper fit - in addition to what I observe, it is your responsibility to be as up front as possible when it comes to how your dog has behaved in the past, such as if they've been in a dog fight, if they've been attacked by another dog, do they resource guard, do they have separation anxiety/fear of certain situations, etc. This is to ensure the safety of all dogs under my care. I know how anxious one can be when it comes to trusting someone with your pets (as my dogs have always meant the world to me) - which is why I will do whatever it takes to ensure your animals have a great time while you enjoy your time away stress-free. I treat every pet I take care of as if they were my own, I give them the daily exercise they need, and all of the love and attention they deserve. I truly give every booking 110% and I enjoy what I do very much. My prices reflect the quality of work I provide, and for that reason I do not do discounts on extended stays, etc. Your pet will recieve 24 hour care and I try my absolute best to make them enjoy every second of it 😁 If your dogs stay overnight with me, I will provide a nice long walk every morning. I take my dog and all the dogs I care for to Ryder and Lowell Holly Conservation areas in Sandwich, MA. I'm often accompanied by my neighbor and her dog and we all have a great time. It's a fantastic nature walk and a great way for me to bond with your pets and give them a chance to feel more comfortable. (Unless your pet is unable to do so of course). If your pet is unable to go on a walk, they will stay with my mom at home 🙂 What I'm unable to accept: Pitbulls (whether pure bred or mixes) Unneutered Males, Huge (101+ Pound Dogs), and Aggressive Dogs (due to their potentially unpredictable nature). If your request includes any of the above listed scenarios, I simply cannot accept the booking - this is for both your dogs safety, as well as other dogs that may be here during their stay & the safety of my family. I ask that all requests be as open and honest as possible since it benefits everyone. Meet and Greets are necessary - they provide you the peace of mind about your pets stay at my home, as well as letting me observe how they do with other dogs. In some cases, depending on the breed/size of the dog/known behavior and other factors preventing a meet and greet, it may not be mandatory, so please reach out and we can decide (especially if you live out of state).
Reviews
Marc is great ! My dogs had a great time . He took great care of my dogs . I will def use Marc again .
Marc is truly the best. He is conscientious and treats my dogs as if they are his own. I’m so lucky to have found him!
Another great stay! My dog likes going to Marc's so much that it's a vacation for her, too, when I go out of town. She is getting a little older and has multiple medications. Marc is very committed to understanding and meeting her specific needs. He takes great pictures, and even put a coat on her for chilly walks. (I had forgotten to bring her coat.) He was very understanding with a delay in her pick-up time. He's the best!
I can always vacation peacefully knowing Benji is with Marc!

I have a fully fenced in, very spacious back yard. I will never leave your pets outside unattended. I am very cautious and protective over all pets I watch and treat them as if they were part of my family.
Home
Information Marc A. would like to know about your pet
I prefer knowing certain "to-do" or "not-to-dos". If your dog has certain temperament issues, or doesn't like being near other animals please let me know so we can determine if my home is a good match.
A typical day
I wake up every morning at 4:30 AM. The dogs are fed at 5 to give enough time for their food to digest before the walk at 6:30 AM (unless your dog needs to eat at a later time, which is perfectly fine). Depending on the dogs I have at the time, the walk will be between 2-4 miles. I will not let ANY dog off leash, but they can at least walk around in the water if they choose (there's a few spots with water where I walk). Throughout the day dogs can play as much as they want outside in the fenced in back yard and are let out to go to the bathroom as often as they need. For more energetic dogs I can go on an additional walk in the afternoon as well.

Availability
I do Rover full-time so when I am watching your pet I can assure you they have my full, undivided attention. In addition to that, I live at home with my mom and two sisters (one of my sisters is disabled) so your pet will get constant love and attention from the whole family and will never be left alone :-)
