Hi! I’m Maranda and my husband is Thomas and we both have an immense passion for animals! I have loved animals since I was a young girl, always wanting to befriend any animal I could!! Between the two of us, we have had many pets over the years, from dogs and cats, to hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, horses, and chickens. We are big supporters of rescued pets, don’t shop, adopt! I have been working in the pet care industry since the beginning of 2011 and I have never questioned if it is right for me! I started out in a local veterinary office in my hometown. After that, I moved to a bigger city and went on to work at a higher volume clinic for a few years. Most recently, I switched to pet-sitting in 2013 in order to have a more flexible schedule while still pursuing my passion of working with animals! I worked for a pet-sitting contracting company in Knoxville and had over 50 clients. We recently moved to the Orlando area from Knoxville, Tennessee and I am more than ready to take on new clients and continue my professional pet care business. My husband and I have 4 large dogs, so quantity and size of your pets are not an issue for us, as we are well rehearsed in multitasking. ;) My husband went to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and received his PhD in engineering, but he has adequate experience assisting me over the years at the veterinary offices as well as with my many pet-sitting clients. He now works at Lockheed Martin full-time, but will possibly be assisting me at visits when he is available and/or needed as a pair of extra hands. (Aka-extra love and attention for your fur-baby!)
