Pet care experience
I've been an avid animal lover all my life, and grew up surrounded by them: horses, dogs, cats- you name it. The first 17 years of my life I had dogs of my own before moving for college, but I've always had pets. Currently, my husband and I personally have 2 cats due to being in housing where we're not able to own dogs of our own. However, I still love being around dogs and would love to take your furry friends (and myself) on some walks out in the sunshine! I have no qualms with picking up after your pups along the way, big or small.

Maranda was very patient and accommodating to our doggy. This is his first experience with a non-family member walking him so she understood his apprehension and timidness. She communicated with us every step of each walk.
Our daughter Maranda came out of the womb loving any and all animals! We had dogs and cats and horses and she loved them and cared for them all. When she was little she could even get our rough-n-tumble country mut, part Australian Shepard, to allow herself to be dressed up as a doll baby and be pushed around in a baby stroller. But she also loved and cared for tree frogs, toads, butterflies and lightning bugs - any and all of the creatures found on our 37 acre country homestead. Her mom and I can without hesitation strongly recommend her for walking and caring for your dogs and know that she will do it responsibly and lovingly.

For right now, I will only be walking one client at a time, so no need to worry about your dog walking with unfamiliar animals. If I were to change this in the future after establishing a routine with you, however, I would reach out and see if you prefer to continue to have your dog walked alone. I personally request that you have a traditional leash on hand that your pup is already familiar with, rather than a retractable dog leash (due to the hazards involved). If you have doggie bags, great! If not, no worries- I also bring my own as backup.

Availability
For my personal schedule, I am looking to form a routine of dog walking a couple days a week in the morning-afternoon. So with that in mind, I'd love to build familiarity with you and your furry family member, and form a routine of our own! Right now, my preferred days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. However, my schedule is flexible at this time, so feel free to reach out and ask!
