I have grown up with animals in the home since I was born, and have had a large variety of different pets over the years (cats, dogs, rats, snakes, rabbits, geckos, turtles, fish....), all of whom I absolutely love! At a young age, I began working with a local rescue group to take feral cats and kittens off the streets and foster them until they found forever homes. Some of these cats were incredibly shy or afraid of humans due to their time on the streets, so my specialty was nurturing and domesticating them so they could be happy, playful, loving, and (most importantly) feel safe in their new owners' homes. From this profound opportunity, I discovered that I am able to sincerely understand not only cats but also dogs and other animals equally as well - and there is no greater feeling than the happiness they get from feeling safe and loved! I also have experience with special needs animals, having owned a brain damaged dog for 15 years, who needed a good deal of extra special support and care. Due to my background and passion, I can offer a special patience, understanding, and level of care for all different kinds of furry family members. I truly pride myself on my ability to adapt to each individual's needs, whatever their energy/comfort level may be. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s) soon!
