I have grown-up with and owned animals my entire life. As an adult, I have 2 beautiful dogs of my own and occasionally pet sit for my mom's dog and cat.

Mara has had dogs all of her life, big ones, small ones and everything in between. She knows what she's doing. She is patient and kind and will love your dogs like they are her own. There are no better hands to leave your dog in. Highly recommend.

At home we do not have a fenced in yard, so regular walks and trips to the dog park are a must. Both of my dogs have the ability to access the house throughout the day, with my golden retriever crated at night. Based on my own home experience, I am entirely comfortable with both open access and crate care.

If you have a specific feeding, medication, or exercise regimen you would like me to abide by, please let me know. Both my own dogs are on medications, and with my nursing background, I have the ability to assist however best meets the needs of you and your pet.
A typical day
I enjoy taking long walks around the neighborhood and playing ball in the dog parks. Games like fetch and tug of war allow us all to burn off some energy.

I am currently a school nurse for PG County. My schedule allows me to have evenings and weekends free, as well as all holidays observed by the school.
