Pet care experience
I walked and house sat for dogs and cats for five years for multiple families because I love dogs so much when I was in High School and College. Now I have my own dogs but I am still always excited to get to know new fur babies. I recently had my first human child so for the moment I am only providing walkis and drop in visit services. I I love animals of all kinds but especially dogs. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard and a dog park just a few blocks away. I am a dog mom to a very lively 8-year old Lab-Beagle mix named Rudy, a still puppy at heart 12-year old Boston Terrier Jack Russel Terrier Mix named Remy, and a 2 year old Boston Terrier Maggie who both love to make new friends. I also make dog cakes and treats. I work from home full time so any dogs in our care are rarely left alone. I have a fenced in backyard. My three good dogs Remy, Rudy and Maggie would love to keep your fur baby company. There is also a dog park just a few blocks away. Remy and Rudy are not crated but I do have a various size crates available.

Mara is a great communicator and was able to help us last minute in a pinch. We have two Great Danes who are sweet but also great home protectors which can be intimidating because of their size. Mara did an excellent job befriending our two big girls a great walk!

At our house we have a fenced in backyard and crates available if needed. We are always out with dogs when they are in the backyard and always have dogs on leashes when not in contained areas. We also have puppy gates that we put up during feeding to ensure the dogs are separate when eating.

I do not have any breed preferences but it would be helpful to know breed, size and general disposition in advance. Also please let me know your dog's typical routine or any special needs they might have. I also like to know what some of their favorite treats and activities are and if there is any areas you are working on training with them.
A typical day
I love going on walks. I am very close to many parks including a dog park. I am also always happy to play fetch and tug of war. I love going on runs with dogs and giving lots of belly rubs.

Availability
I work full time from home with a generally flexible schedule. I do occasionally work evenings at the YMCA but I am generally available at most times of the day and all days of the week.
