Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with cats my whole life. I currently have 2 of my own fur babies and take care of my roommate’s 2 cats as well. We have a lovely pride here. One of my cats has respiratory issues and the other is diabetic, so I am comfortable giving medication and dealing with health issues on the fly. Growing up, I was the neighborhood kid who did all the pet-sitting when people went on trips. Even as a teenager, I was able to handle pet emergencies calmly. I’m a dog aunt to my brother’s sheltie/aussie mix, Jax and the widely hyper new addition of his Golden, Tucker. I take care of them for long periods of time frequently. When I am away from home, having someone who pays attention to how my animals are feeling and knowing they are timely and consistent is important to me, so that is what I always give.

Mara did a great job making my cat feel comfortable and cared for while I was away. I feel much better traveling knowing someone is there to keep Pippa company!
Mara is fantastic with animals! She has been my go-to cat sitter for the past few years, and my cat Henrie adores her! She is great about always sending updates and cute photos of Henrie whenever she is cat sitting. Whenever I am on vacation or away from home, I always feel peace of mind knowing that my sweet kitty is in good hands with Mara. She is extremely responsible, trustworthy, and kind-hearted, not to mention animals love her! I fully recommend Mara to anyone looking for a compassionate, reliable sitter- she will look after your pets as if they are her own.
First of all Mara loves animals! They are attracted to her and can feel her affection for them. She is so reliable I never had to worry when I was away. She would text me photos while I was on vacation do you let me know how things were going. I just love having her care for my little furry humans.

I like to match your pet’s level of energy. That being said, I can be a big kid with animals. Long walks to explore are a great way to burn off energy. I’m also happy to sit and cuddle if that is what your pet prefers.

I work an early shift so that leaves a lot of my day free. I love hanging out with animals and helping people out. This is a nice way to do both!
