Pet care experience
I have greatly enjoyed taking care of cats, dogs, bunnies, chickens, and plants/gardens for friends and neighbors since I was a kid. This has included caring for elderly and sick pets. In the last year, this general interest has spread by word of mouth and I’ve begun accepting pet care work from my friends’ friends and neighbors. It’s an honor and a joy!

Manya is an amazing pet sitter! She has genuine love for animals, and Manya bonded immediately with both our cat and dog. She kept us updated daily, and it was clear our pets were treated with the utmost care. Additionally, Manya demonstrated great care and respect for our home during the several days she resided there. Manya was very attentive to the needs of our Chihuahua. She is very friendly and always shows up on time. She asks a lot of questions and takes notes to make sure she follows the guidelines we laid out for our pet. I highly recommend her services.
Manya has pet sat my two terriers several times. She is reliable and gives the dogs a lot of attention and TLC. She walks them and stays overnight with your pets if you prefer. They always seem happy and relaxed when we come home after Manya stays with them. I recommend her.

I want to do everything possible to ensure a happy experience for all. If appropriate, I can drive your pet/s to the park, beach, a play date, or even a veterinary appointment.

The more information about your pet’s temperament, likes, and dislikes the better. And any house rules as well. Please let me know of any special needs your animal may have. Feel free to be as specific as you’d like. I have provided care for many older dogs and cats. This has included very picky eaters who must eat prior to taking medications three times a day and so get hand fed. As well as things like slowly walking a large dog who had a leg injury twice a day per his people’s instructions.
A typical day
All activities will be dependent on what your animal likes and needs. I’ll start by helping them get comfortable with me and following your instructions. We can play games, go for walks, take a drive, play at the park, or go to the beach. When caring for a dog who needs to run, I use a Chuckit ball launcher or a tennis racket. But this all depends on what the animal and their person are comfortable with. In any case, there is usually a great deal of snuggling and a lot of lovey baby talk.
