Pet care experience
As a pet parent myself, I enjoy that I am providing a trusted service in which you can rest at ease knowing that their loved pet/family member is in good hands. I have been in your shoes and know what it is like. I have 2 dogs of my own, Mikey and Chewy. I adopted them as puppies from a dog shelter in New Orleans, LA 6 years ago and they have been with me ever since. I have also taken care of other friends' dogs and cats before. I am calm, playful, and understanding with dogs, which dogs seem to appreciate. Most dogs tend to really like me from our first encounter and those that don't tend to warm up to me eventually. You and your dog will appreciate my nice and trusting personality, and I am sure I will enjoy taking care of your dog(s). When your pet is with me you can be assured that they are being treated as one of the family. In order to keep you informed I will be more than happy to send lots of photo and text updates throughout the stay.

Manoli is awesome!!!! Our pup, Milo, can be a little skittish around new people but Manoli took the time to make Milo really comfortable and now Milo is in love with him! He's always asking us when he gets to play with Manoli and his pups Mikey and Chewy again. Manoli will also send us pictures from Milo's walk so we know he's having the time of his life. We couldn't recommend him more and will continue using all of his services.
Manoli is such a great guy and my dogs Chloe and Cooper love him. He is definitely my go-to sitter whenever we leave to go on vacation and my dogs get really excited when he comes over as they know they will have plenty of fun. Manoli is very polite, courteous, and professional. He always sends us pictures and keeps us up to date with what is going on with our two dogs which makes us feel at ease when we are away.
Manoli was very loving caring towards my dog who was very sick at the time with spinal cancer. He would come to my house and walk the dog while I was at work. He would take pictures so I can see his progress. Manoli helped with the physical therapy of Isaac's back leg problem. He was extremely reliable and loving we miss him as a dog walker in New Orleans.
Manoli was a fantastic dog sitter. He was very active with the dog, he wouldn't just sit he would actively take the dog out as owner/pet needs. I go to Greece once a year for about 3-4 weeks to Greece and he would take care of my dog named koukla?. I would definitely suggest him to anyone!

At a meet and greet I would let the dog approach me and get comfortable with me in their own manner without trying to force it. I try to get closer to the dog’s level and reach my hand out so it can be sniffed while talking in a calm and loving voice to the dog. I have no preferences to what dog breed an owner has, but there are some things I will need to know in order to deliver the best care to your dog, such as: Daily schedule Medical needs Triggers/anxieties Behavioral quirks Training cues Socialization Favorite parks/games/treats
A typical day
We will go on walks, or to the dog park if there is one nearby. I will give them lots of love, pets, and treats. I would follow your instructions as to how often to feed the pup and give them any medications if they take any. For shorter walks I usually walk around several city blocks with my dogs, but if time is not an issue I love going to the dog park at Carl Schurz Park by East River or any park nearby.
