We'd LOVE to play host/hostess to your dog(s) while you're away from home overnight, hosting a slumber party, or just need a break! We welcome small or giant dogs and are available if you've got more than one dog - no need to separate them while you're away from them. We are your typical suburban family with three kids (13, 11, 7) in a large single family home with a large fenced-in backyard (no pool - but we DO have a doggy pool if it gets hot!). Our neighborhood is a "circle" with no through traffic and access to the Elm Creek Park walking/bicycle trails. Our children love being involved in taking caring for the animals and giving them lots of attention, of course, with our supervision. We also have an energetic 2 yr old neutered male husky/Australian Shepard mix who loves playing with other dogs, especially in the backyard. We're a laid back family who enjoy cuddles with our fluffy-friends on the furniture and bed. We have no problem feeding our dog in another room or outside if yours need special attention during mealtimes. Our family lost our first dog (she lived to be 16 years old!) a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland mix 2 yrs ago, so we're attuned to the needs of both puppies and senior dogs (i.e. food grazers, lots of energy, medications, etc.) Lastly, because we already have shedding dog, we don't care if your dog sheds. Our dog isn't perfect, so if your dog breaks a rule or two at our home... NOT the end of the world!
