My dog is probably my biggest priority in my daily life. (Don’t tell my husband) I can’t rest until I know his needs and demands are met. I know he is a very happy puppy. I may have not cared for a strangers dog but I have provided care for family members pets. I treat them just like my own if not better because I know how important our pets are. I do work full time throughout the week, but my schedule runs from 6:45-3:15 so I am available for good chunks of the afternoon to early evening. In our home our dog has an area that is just for him. This is where he spends his day as we do not crate him. We do have a gate put up that allows his space to have his bed, his crate, toys food and water. It is his safe space. He has a good sized yard to run around in, although it is not fenced. Our dog is very little and cannot handle long walks but I do take him on little walks to get rid of some of that puppy energy. He is taken out for “potty breaks” as often as we possibly can when we’re home and he his awarded every time with a small treat.
