If you need an experienced, professional and trustworthy pet sitter while you are away on a vacation I would love to treat your pets with the utmost compassionate and loving care they can receive outside of your home. If you need experienced help with special needs pets that require extra care or those that require daily administered medications or injections while you are away, I can help! I have had pets my entire life and I have many years experience caring for all types of fur critters and I also have 3 1/2 years professional experience as a veterinarian assistant. I did also attend Duluth Business University for Veterinary Technician. Your pets will be in the best care possible! I have a 42 acre hobby farm 6 minutes north of Two Harbors with 3 dogs, 1 cat, 3 horses and lots of chickens and my young son so your pooches will get plenty of space to play with friends if they like to have friends! I do not have a fenced in yard but I can provide a generous zip-line tie out if your dog requires that extra safety if they are curious wanderers! We also have a 6X6 outdoor kennel and large dog crates available if needed, so you don't have to haul yours around. I do have a play pen for puppies and small dogs if needed. I will provide high quality supervision and care of your fur babies without the worry while you are away. Giving medications and injections is not a problem if your fur kid requires special care. I have experience with senior pets, special needs pets and pets that need a little extra care. I am also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR through the New Skills Academy. If interested in services I can provide for you, please visit my schedule to set up a meet and greet so we can go over your preferences and meet you and your pets! *I do currently work full-time outside of my home. I am able to come home on my lunch breaks during the week to let dogs potty and exercise until afternoon when my family is home @ 3pm. I do have separate areas dogs can be during the day when we are not home if needed. I hope to be able to be home full-time in the near future so I can be with your fur kids full-time while you need care for them.

Mandy is awesome! She is very knowledgeable of all animals given her education and experience. She took extra steps to make sure my special needs dog had the opportunity to be taken care of. Mandy's patience with her during the meet and great was encouraging. I will use Mandy every time I need an in-house sitter. This is something we've needed in Two Harbors a long time. I know my dogs are in good hands with Mandy.
I worked with Mandy for several months as she trained to our at our sister veterinary clinic. She was always very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. (food, fear, separation anxiety?) *Does your pet require any special care? Medications? Food? Etc... *Does your pet get along with other dogs and cats? *Is your pet OK with small children? *It's a good idea to make sure your dogs have tick protection when boarding with us as do live in the country and there are potential ticks in the area.
A typical day
Our pups have 42 acres to play on (un-fenced so please advise on leashing policy) and they will get plenty of exercise, walks and good old play time when staying with me or when doing a drop in visit!

Availability
I work outside of my home 8am to 5pm but I am able to take care of your pups before work, at lunch time they get a potty break and exercise and another exercise and potty break immediately when I get done with work.
