Pet care experience
Hello! I am a full time, certified Veterinary Assistant here in Las Vegas. Caring for animals is my passion! Before moving to Las Vegas I interned at an Animal Shelter in Jackson WY for over two years! I am CPR certified, and care for sick and injured animals daily! I am trained in administering medications (oral, injectable, liquid) giving insulin injections, getting blood glucose's and more! I am also trained to care for geriatric pets who need some extra TLC! I work daily with dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities as well. Along with cats of all personality types and breeds. I understand the last thing you want to do is worry about your fur kids while away. Rest assured I will care for your pet like I care for my clients at work and my own fur kids at home!

I met Mandy when she was the intern at the municipal animal shelter where I worked. As a shelter professional with a dog with behavioral issues, I had to be very careful about who I chose as a pet-sitter. Mandy was amazing. Reliable, communicative, and very knowledgeable. She took my dog on long walks, gave her tons of love and attention, and followed my directions to a "T". I was trust my dog with very few people, and Mandy is at the top of my list! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I do not discriminate! Big or small, I love them all. There are a few things I would like to know though.. 1. Any aggression issues? ( with toys, food, humans, other animals) 2.Health issues I need to keep an extra close eye on? ( Diabetic, seizures, etc.) 3. Any where in specific you DO or do NOT want your pet to go? (dog parks, people parks, dog friendly restaurants, etc.) 4. What does your pet like / dislike? ( loud noises, fire works, being left alone, etc.) The more I know about your pet, the easier I can keep he/she and myself safe and happy!!
A typical day
If your dog enjoys dog parks, we shall go! Long walks, short walks, we shall walk! Your dog loves play time? We shall play till he/she is tuckered out. Is your dog a couch potato? We shall couch sit! Followed by a lot of water breaks and time to rest / cool off.
