Pet care experience
I’ve owned 5 labs and 1 golden retriever and lived w/5 other dogs since. Lifetime experience with dogs of all ages. I have pet sat growing up (cats, lizards, dogs, you name it) and currently sit my parents rescue dog when they travel- drop ins and overnights. I am comfortable with small dogs as well as I sit a shih tzu as well. I’ve also pet sit for friends during my time living in different states. I am extremely comfortable with animals and will invite them on the couch (with your permission) every time! I am a former D1 runner who runs every day and would love to bring your pup with me :) The motivation for signing up for Rover is that I want a dog SO badly after living with them for 30 years, but I sometimes need to travel for work so can’t commit full time. That’s why your pup will bring me so much joy!

Mandy was absolutely the perfect choice for our doggy. This was the first time we have used Rover. We were a bit apprehensive, but our doggy was happy to see Mandy the second day. That told us everything we needed to know, Mandy is great
Mandy has always loved animals, especially dogs of all sizes. She’s always been very responsible and loving towards all of our pets over many years. She’s watched many dogs in her home and taken care of them in neighbor’s and friends homes, as well. You can’t go wrong with Mandy P. She even gives my Lexie big hugs. She a great animal lover!
Mandy helped watch and care of my 2 yr old mini Aussie, Ellie! She’s a ball of energy and Mandy was able to keep up playing with her at the beach. Ellie immediately loved Mandy - tell tale sign of a good dog handler !! Would recommend Mandy anytime to watch someone’s dog. She’s so sweet and caring.

I have a fenced yard and no pets of my own. We have an extra guest room for if any reason your pet likes their own space or own area for sleep. We have a huge L couch and plenty of open windows for them to take watch from :)

I would need to know if your pet has any allergies, is reactive, needs medication, has a limit to how far he/she can walk, heat sensitive (to plan how long our walks/outdoor sessions can be), recent injuries or sore spots I can make sure I am mindful of!
A typical day
I love enriching activities with pets and watching their faces light up when they’ve discovered or done something new. We have a safe, low traffic neighborhood that is perfect for walks or runs. I run daily and would love to help your pup burn off some energy! We also have a backyard to let your dog roam free while supervised.

I work 9-5 from home with flexible hours and would love for your pet to join me! I run everyday and can bring them along with me as well.
