Hi to all you pet parents, Let me tell you a little about myself: My name is Mandy. I’m 39. I am located in Wakefield (walking distance to the lake). I have. 2 year old English bulldog and a 12 year old Pomeranian. I also have 3 kitties ages 3, 9,and11, and a 10 year old yellow naped amazon parrot. I adore all animals but have a very special place in my heart for doggies and kitties. My experience: I have been working with dogs and cats for 19 years. I started out doing animal care at a local veterinary hospital. ( this is when I realized I want to always work with animals. ) I would administer medication, walk boarding and in-patient dogs, monitoring in-patient animals, assist the dr when needed. Grooming:I worked as a bather brusher an Jr groomer for awhile. I loved working with animals but grooming just wasn’t in my heart. Dog day care: I did this for years. I loved it and still keep in touch with all the pups humans. I love to get check ups on previous clients as they mean a ton to me. Dog walking/pet sitting This is my favorite. It’s hands on. I get to love , snuggle,play one on one and provide exercise which is important for a happy healthy dog. I love to go on adventures and meet new doggie friends. So, as you can see I’m very experienced with dogs and cats. I have gained so much knowledge over the past 19 years. My goal in the next year is to not only become one of the best walkers but, to also take a dog training class. I’m always looking to learn more.
