Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs for more than 20 years. I have volunteered at multiple animals shelters and humane societies and I have always had dogs of my own. Our dogs are considered family and that’s how we treat them. I have experience dog sitting for family and friends but this is my first experience with Rover. Our family dog recently passed away and our house is feeling very lonely. We would like to open our home to pups who need a place to crash while their parents are out of town.

I have a 3 year old— a meet and greet is necessary to be sure your dog is good with young children. My child is very comfortable around dogs.
A typical day
A typical day would include walks and playing outside/inside multiple times. Your dog will eat at your recommended times and I will try to follow their normal routine as much as possible. & of course, lots of love and reassurance!

Availability
I work from home so my schedule is very convenient for dog sitting and walks. Because I am home throughout the day, I can give more attention to dogs that may have anxiety or other issues with being alone for long periods of time.
