Hello pawrents! Thank you for considering our family. My husband Cesar, our Boston Terrier Harley, Mini Aussie rescue Ginger and I would love to care for your pet while you are away. We live on a private vineyard in Calistoga, CA with plenty of room to play and run around. We take daily walks morning and night around the property in addition to frequent potty breaks throughout the day. Harley is an eight year old Boston Terrier who loves to play as much as he loves to nap. So whether your dog is a high-energy breed or a relaxed senior, Harley will match your dog’s energy level. He can be your doggo’s BFF or give them space as needed. He loves a fellow squishy face and often falls in love with the pugs that stay and play with us. He loves to make friends and will be as excited to see you as your dog during pickup. Harley works as much as we do to take care of your dog by frequently requesting potty or stretch breaks outside, enforcing meal times, warming up doggy beds for guests, and digging plenty of toys out of the basket. He has been a dog sitter himself nearly his whole life. Harley has three sisters who have joined our pack. We've adopted a young Mini Australian Shepherd named Ginger. She's super playful, but she is still very fearful of other humans. You will probably not meet her, but you might hear her upon your arrival. We are working to build her confidence and help her to feel safe. Thank you for your understanding during this training! Harley also has two human sisters! Both are still quite young, and we have procedures in place to everyone safe while ensuring all of our dogs are integrated into our family with our home-style of sitting. Mandi has been caring for dogs while their pawrents are away for 17 years. She has emergency/animal CPR training and experience with medications and senior dog care. Cesar has been a dog walker for 7 years in addition to caring for dogs in our home. With our schedules, typically someone is always home, but if that is a requirement for your dog’s care please let us know ahead of time. In addition to Rover's insurance, we have a 3rd party insurance policy because your dog's care is our priority. OUR POLICIES 1) Sorry ladies, spayed females only (exception: puppies under 4 months) | Unneutered males are welcome! 2) Please coordinate with us and book an appointment. We don’t allow pickups or dropoffs before 8:00am or after 6:30pm. Please text/call 15-30 minutes before arriving for pickup or dropoff. Text upon arrival. 3) Must be current on all shots, flea/tick and heart medications. Vet records requested. 4) Photos of your dog taken at our home during their stay will be posted to our social media, Rover and used for promotion. WHAT TO PACK: Please bring a collar/harness, leash and any clothes if needed (sun shirt or coat) and food. We have plenty of beds, bowls and BarkBox toys to keep your dog happy and comfortable. If your dog is crate trained, we have a few of our own crates.
