Pet care experience
My love for dogs has always been present with my first email address being DogLoverMal. It wasn't shocking that my first job was working at an outdoor doggy daycare. That job was the start of my now 12 year pet sitting experience! I have summers off from my work in special education and extended breaks throughout the year which is why I have been everyone's go-to pet sitter over the years! Growing up with two schnauzers has me itching to get a pet of my own. Until that day comes, I thoroughly enjoy taking care of other people's pets from cats to dogs and any small animal in between! I have had great experiences working with younger dogs needing more exercise to senior dogs requiring extra care and attention!
Reviews
Mallory was an excellent boarding host. She clearly communicated, kept me updated daily, and took great care of our two Bostons. Looking forward to finding available time on her schedule for our a future trip.
Malory was great! She sent lots of photos and updates and was very responsive. They went on lots of walks and Willow looked like she felt at home. Would recommend Malory to anyone!
Miss Minnie just loved Malory from the moment they met! I have never seen my pup take so well to another sitter. Malory was excellent at keeping me up to date on activities, and provided many photos during Minnie's stay. I would not hesitate to use Malory again!
Malory is so caring, thoughtful and an excellent communicator. We are so lucky to have found Malory!!

MY HOME: I live with my partner who loves dogs just as much as I do! He grew up in a family who constantly fostered new dogs, so having furry friends around the house is preferred! I am the only one providing care for your pet (walking, feeding, medication, etc.) but he loves to play indoors and cuddle on the couch with any dog that stays with us. We have no pets of our own, so your dog(s) will have my undivided attention when they come to stay with us. In addition to that, I only take one client at a time so you can be sure no other dogs will be present. We live in a condo that allows direct access to a long walking path and within a short distance of a few parks. Photos of our living space are located on my profile. Your dog is welcome on all furniture and on the bed for sleeping, if that is preferred! We have plenty of room for dog crates or larger dog beds as well. YOUR HOME: I am respectful of your house rules and extra careful when being provided door codes/copies of house keys. I am mindful of leaving your home in the same condition as how you left it. I’m quick to provide updates and messages for when I’m in your space caring for your pets. Currently, most of my drop-in visits consist of cat clients but I’m always excited to have a dog drop-in for a quick feed/walk!

Information Malory T. would like to know about your pet
It's important to me that I treat your pet with the care and attention that you're looking for! BOARDING: - Does your dog take medication or have any known allergies? - What is your current routine for feeding and walking? - Is your dog allowed on furniture? - Where does your dog prefer to sleep? - Do you use any commands or particular harnesses I should be aware of? - Are there any concerns with interactions with other dogs while on walks? - When no one is home, does your dog have free range of the home or restrictions (crate, stays in bedroom, etc)? - Can your dog(s) wait 9 hours for a potty break? (Only applies if your stay overlaps on a office work day for me) *With respect for my neighbors working from home, I am unable to accommodate dogs with separation anxiety that result in extended howling/barking for hours when left home alone on my office work days* DROP-IN (Dogs & Cats): - What is your typical routine for feeding? - Any medications needing to be administered? - What level of play/walking are you hoping for?
A typical day
I live right along the river and love to take dogs along the walking trail on a daily basis! I'm within close distance of a popular dog park and many dog-friendly paths. With your permission, I'm always open to including your pet in my personal adventures of hiking and other community outings. Depending on the time of year, your dog is welcome to join me to the Saturday Market, farmers market, or any other outdoor event in town!

Availability
MY SCHEDULE: September - June: I work Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm. I work from home 2 days/week (typically Wed/Fri). I have holidays off, extended breaks, and the occasional no-school day that allows for more availability. That is all reflected in my calendar but take note of the larger breaks I’ll have off from work: Thanksgiving (1 week), Winter Break (2 weeks), and Spring Break (1 week). June-August: I have open availability in the summer due to having time off from work. This allows me to be home more consistently with your pet! *Feel free to reach out for last-minute bookings or if my dates are listed as unavailable. If I’m able to accommodate - I certainly will! 😊
