I grew up on a farm in Montana and am now in Columbus for my master program in social work. I just moved here and am excited to start meeting some furry friends. I have almost always had both a dog and a cat and miss being around them as much as I was before. Growing up I was mainly surrounded by American cocker spaniels, Australian Shepards, Border Collies, basset hounds, and several different mixes. As far as cats they were your basic barn cats that we would catch and tame. I love hiking and running and am willing to take dogs running and hiking as well. I have a lot of energy so I would do a great job helping your animals get the exercise and attention they need. I am not available 24 hours a day but have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan in visits to homes and walks throughout the day.

I do not have a house that allows me to take care of pets at my own residence. Because if this, I can only provide services within your home. I always take the utmost care in locking residence and keeping dogs on a leash.

Before booking an appointment I like to know the pets usual schedule. What time do they normally get taken out in the day, etc. I also like to know how they are on a leash, how they are with new people/pets, if they have any special needs, what commands they obey, how often they need taken out, and how you normally dispose of their waste.
A typical day
The love the take dogs to local parks, in hikes, and playing a typical game a fetch. For dogs that are not as playful I am always happy to take them on a long walk instead. For cats it really depends on what they want. But I am happy to play with them if they are interested.

Availability
I am in graduate school, but am available most evenings. As long as you have Wi-Fi I can keep your pets company and give them fairly frequent outdoor breaks on weekends as well.
