I just completed my animal science degree from Iowa State University so I have had several years experience dealing with companion animals as well as farm animals. My full time job starting after summer is going to be managing a boarding and daycare facility near Waterloo, but in the mean time, I am taking the summer to work part time and enjoy the happiness that animals bring to me! In high school, I did several job shadows and internships, a few being at the Cedar Valley Humane Society and the Eastern Iowa Veterinary Specialty Center caring for peoples pets. In college, I worked for lab animal resources as an animal care technician and Ames Pet Resort as a boarding and daycare attendant and receptionist. In between my studies for animal science and part time jobs, I watched family and friends pets and homes when needed. I love animals so much and I would treat your pet as if it were my own, and spoil it every second until you return home. I know how important it is for some animals to get attention and affection and I will do just that. I am also a very active person and love to spend time outside and go for walks/ runs with dogs.
