We're a young married couple living in DC's Trinidad neighborhood, and we absolutely adore dogs! We have two pups of our own (Ziggy who is an Australian shepherd/lab mix and Jasper who is a complete mutt) who we love taking on walks, to the park, and of course, snuggling with. We both keep very active and like to include Jasper + Ziggy in that lifestyle. We also love watching our friend's dogs. Jasper and Ziggy always love friends, so we'd love to watch your pet! As for our home, we have a big fenced in back yard that the dogs like to play in most of the day. We're also less than a mile from a big dog park in DC that we visit often. Mallory works for herself and her schedule is extremely flexible, so she's able to care for the dogs, as well as go to clients homes to take care of their pets. We are extremely responsible, and take the care of our dog (and yours) very seriously. We are attentive, take the dogs out regularly for walks and exercise, and make sure there's plenty for them to do. We regularly dog sit for a few of our neighbors, so we're definitely familiar with bringing a new pup into the mix, and our dogs absolutely adore having another friend around. We typically start our day with an early morning walk with the dogs, or a trip to the park. After breakfast, it's a bit of lounge time, before another walk or visit to the park. We typically feed the dogs around 5 or 6 p.m. and end with 1-2 more walks in the evening. However, we're happy to accommodate any additional walks your pup may need. We also let the dogs out in our yard frequently throughout the day, especially if they have extra energy.
