Pet care experience
We have had family dogs for over 9 years that I was the primary care taker for and I adopted my very own dog in 2016. We have had small and medium dogs (teddy bear mix, Sheppard/terrier mix), and I have a large and beautiful Siberian Husky. All of our dogs have had quite varying personalities that I have learned to handle! I have a job very close to home that allows me to check in around lunch time or slow points throughout the day as needed Tuesday through Friday, Saturday through Monday I do not work. I'm capable of walking or running your dogs, and comfortable with multiples. I have been a volunteer at several humane societies since 2016 and a local rescue since 2018, so I have even more experience with many different breeds and temperaments. Everyone who knows me would say that I am the biggest dog lover they know!

I think my dog might prefer Mallory's house more now...
Mallory was so great. Our dog tends to be very nervous and standoffish around new people and places so we've always been hesitant to board at a home. He wouldn't even come outside when she came over to meet him. But none of that phased Mallory who had him cuddling before we even left town. So great to have her in the neighborhood!
Mallory was great! She kept me updated everyday with pictures of my boy! I also was so happy they had a dog of their own that played & got along with my dog so well!!??
Mallory is amazing! She is knowledgeable about dogs and she introduced our dogs so well. Our dog can be picky and snappy around new dogs. Mallory's experience volunteering for a dog rescue is valuable. She handled the dogs play time so well. Mallory had an adoption anniversary party for her dog and invited our dog. The pictures are priceless! Thank you!

We have a large yard that is unfenced. For our resident dog he is comfortable in a tie out and lounging outside anytime we are home. If your dog is used to this—great, if not we have plenty of walking routes in our neighborhood and not far from parks if that’s what they enjoy! I’m happy to do some simple bathing/brushing while they stay with us if you’d like!

A typical day
We have lots of room to play fetch or chase in the yard, and can walk/run to several parks or trails nearby! The house had plenty of room for one or multiple dogs to be comfortable, have their own space, or snuggle up with us and chill.

Availability
I work a 4-day week, Tuesday through Friday and off Saturday through Monday. I have a job very close to home which allows me to stop back home over lunch or slow points throughout the day as needed to check in on pups.
