Pet care experience
I’m Mallory and I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and Mom, and I have two children under 11, two dogs, and a cat! I have grown up with animals of every variety including birds and small rodents, so I’m very attuned to a variety of care needs. Currently, I am the proud fur mama of a rescued pitbull-lab cross, a Great Dane, and a sphynx cat. I love all animals and would love to assist pet families with their care needs. I have experience with the following animals: - Dogs - Cats - Domestic birds including chickens - Reptiles including snakes and lizards - Frogs, toads - Rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs - Fish I don’t have experience with domestic insects and spiders however I am available should you need help with tarantulas/scorpions etc as I think they’re lovely!

Mallory was an excellent fit for my small zoo. She communicated well, let me know what times to expect her, and put in the extra effort to make sure my cats were happy and fed. She followed my directions, and left detailed report cards at the end of each day. I highly recommend her!
Mallory did a great job of taking care of our 2 cats for a week while we were on vacation. Typically, they get pretty mad with us and ignore us when we get home, but not this time! I think they got enough cuddles and attention that they barely noticed we were gone. Kitties were happy to see us when we got home, littler box was cleaned and food always topped up for them. Will definitely recommend Mallory to anyone who needs their pets taken care of.
Mallory was awesome - checked in on our cat while we were away and was super diligent to send photos and updates all week long. Would definitely hire her again :)

I would prefer a short meet and greet before any in-home drop in or care appointments, whether virtual or in person, and please allow some additional bonding time before dog walking. Dogs that are still learning leash manners should be equipped with proper gear to prevent pulling and injury (for both of us) while on walks. If you require guidance for leashes, training collars or harnesses, I would be happy to assist! I have taken basic obedience with all of my dogs at least once and can offer techniques and strategies for improved leash walking.

Please let me know if your dog has special needs or is reactive to other animals while out walking, including prey drive. Animals that may lunge or react when walking may require me to wear a waist harness for extra stability.
A typical day
I’m very active and fit, so if you have a dog that needs to be run, I’m your girl! I’m happy to take high-energy dogs and burn off some steam.
