Full-time dog care provider!
Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m a full time dog sitter/doggy day care provider; meaning I’m home all day to hang out with your pup! I offer nail trimming, baths and hair trimming as grooming services, as well as behavioral training help with all sorts of common issues (jumping up, harassing guests, reactivity with other dogs, pulling on the leash, etc).
Reviews
Mallory is a game changer for us. I boarded my recently adopted pup with her for two days. I have struggled with this sweet and wonderful pooch and I shared my woes with Mallory. She was empathetic and put up with the accidents that I hoped would never happen during my pups stay. Not only that, Mallory gave me better advice and help with training than anywhere I have gotten with my referrals for help with several unexpected behavioral issues. When I picked my dog up, after I vented about the situation with her behavior, Mallory had us go for a walk together with my dog so we could work on some behavior issues that have caused me a lot of stress since adopting my baby a month ago. This is above and beyond. My dog is so content and behaving so well since she has been home. This was only for boarding. Mallory has been key in making Echo a part of our home. She truly went above and beyond for us. Thank you, Mal!
Mallory was great with our 5 month puppy. He was very nervous at first but got used to Mallory quickly. He came home happy and tired.
Mallory is fantastic. I felt so secure bringing my pup to her. Thank you!
Mallory provided great care for Gator! She provided detailed updates and you can clearly tell that she is both extremely knowledgeable and cares about the dogs she cares for. Would definitely book with her again in the Ames area.

I was an animal science major at Iowa state university, so I know a lot about dog behavior and health! I can administer oral meds as well as injections if necessary on whatever schedule you may need! I've had dogs in my home since I was 8 years old, sparking my love for all animals. I've been through petcos training for multiple dogs over the years, volunteered at humane societies all throughout high school, and actively participated in obedience classes with my own dog back when I didn’t know how to get the results I wanted.

Information Mallory C. would like to know about your pet
What info is important to know about a dog ahead of time?: What is your dogs personality like? Do they have any quirks I should be aware of? Can they be trusted off leash at all? Do they require any medication or special diet requirements? What are their favorite things to do? Do they get along well with other pups? Have they been away from home before?
A typical day
Describe a typical day: I often take my own dog to ada Hayden for walkies! We also have 2 toy baskets full of ropes bones and balls! There will be plenty of play time as well as one on one interaction so your pup gets all the love, attention and mental stimulation that they may need. We will engage in mind stimulating games while here as well! If you’re interested in my training here is a link to one of the trainers I regularly watch and use his “No Bad Dogs” ideology ; https://youtu.be/MOJuwZh9nvA?si=OTEatk3lu1PWl2-0

Availability
Between my boyfriend and I, someone is home with the dogs at pretty much any time of day! I’m at home every day and available to provide care where most people would be working. I love dogs of all sizes (especially the big ones!). They’ll sleep wherever you prefer; in our room with the option of a king size bed with my pup and I, or we also have large dog beds if they’re more independent- or if you prefer kenneling at night I can do that too, whatever you need so they feel right at home! I have a very flexible schedule to better facilitate pick ups/drop offs. My boyfriend may facilitate these for me if I have an appointment or something that would have me away from the house. Being that we live together, he helps keep an eye on everyone and helps with walks and going to the park and such!
